Gina Agresta Richardson practices in the firm's Business Law and Estate Planning and Probate Law sections. Ms. Richardson focuses her practice on general business law, but also counsels clients on trademark, tax, banking and appellate law issues. She is admitted to practice law in Ohio.Before joining Manchester Bennett Powers & Ullman in 1999, Ms. Richardson interned for the State of Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals. Ms. Richardson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Studies from the University of Notre Dame in 1995. She earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron in 1999, graduating magna cum laude.
A native of Youngstown, Ms. Richardson belongs to the Mahoning County, Ohio State and American Bar Associations and the American Bankruptcy Institute. She serves on the Board of Zoning Appeals for Green Township, is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Eastern Area Health Education Center, and serves as a director for the Mahoning Chapter of the American Red Cross. She previously served as the treasurer of the Ohio Women's Bar Association.
Ms. Richardson authored "Employee Stock Ownership Plans: Uncertainties Plaguing the Duties of the ESOP Fudiciary with Respect to Voting and Defensive ESOPs," an article published in the Akron Tax Journal in 1999. Her hobbies include horseback riding, running, traveling and yoga.
