MARTHA L. BUSHEY Martha L. Bushey participates in the firm's Business Law, Probate Law and Civil Litigation sections. Ms. Bushey primarily works in the areas of healthcare law, personal injury, medical malpractice defense, general commercial law and annexation law. An intensive care supervisor at St. Vincent Charity Hospital from 1969-1977 and presently a member of the National Health Lawyers Association, she is well versed on Medicare and Medicaid law and issues relating to hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities and managed care groups. Ms. Bushey graduated from Youngstown State University summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1986 and received a Juris Doctor degree cum laude in 1989 from the University of Akron. She is admitted to practice law in Ohio. Ms. Bushey is a member of several professional and civic organizations, including the Junior League of Youngstown, the Youngstown Symphony Guild, the Stambaugh Pillars and the Butler Institute of American Art. She serves on the board of directors for the Boardman Civic Association, Leadership Mahoning Valley, Valley Counseling Services, Inc., St. Elizabeth Development Foundation and Boardman Township Civil Service Commission.
