Mark A. Beatrice practices in the firm's Business Law section and has been with the firm since 1981. Mr. Beatrice concentrates his law practice in the areas of bankruptcy law, construction law and debtor-creditor relations. He represents lenders in both commercial and consumer bankruptcies, and has acted as debtor's counsel in various Chapter 11 business reorganizations. In 1997 he was appointed to the panel of Trustees for Chapter 7 proceedings filed in the Youngstown Bankruptcy Court. He also has considerable experience representing suppliers and subcontractors in the construction industry. He has lectured in Northeast Ohio on the topics of protecting secured interests in bankruptcy proceedings and collection of judgments. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the U. S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also one of the firm's three licensed title agents and the vice president of the firm's title agency, Commerce Title Agency of Youngstown, LLC.

Mr. Beatrice graduated summa cum laude from Adrian College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He also earned a Master of Arts degree in Policy Science and Public Affairs and a Juris Doctor degree from Duke University in 1981.

Mr. Beatrice is a member of the Poland Rotary Club, and serves as the treasurer of the club's 501(c) (3) charitable organization, the Chili Open Golf Classic, Inc.
